For this year I planned to go up the Nadelhorn together with a mountain guide. As a preparation and to acclimatize I arrived in Sass Fee two days earlier.
On the first evening I walked up to the Plattjen after the calbecar stopped running. I was the only person walking around and the view to the high mountains on the other side of the valley was fantastic. I could even see the Weissmies where I was three years ago. During a break I spotted some young ibexes which came really close 🙂
The next morning I decided to walk up the Langflue. Unfortunately the weather was not as good as the forecast said. But still the view of the glacier was great! On the way I saw two cute marmots. In the mountain hut I enjoyed a hot coffee before walking back down to the village.
